As many of you know, I set up NOGH with a view to it being a social enterprise or community interest company and an app to get local organic produce to the vulnerable.
Those ideas never materialised as I was spending all my time just trying to earn enough to live on as I'm alone with my children. As the business grew I was getting closer to my goal but along came a series of circumstances which has meant I'm now back to square one. I want more than ever my business to be a force of good.
I'm offering FREE cooking classes in schools so that children can learn how to make lovely tasty healthy treats that in the most Buddhist of nogh ways causes the least harm possible to the environment and animals and people. If you think your childs school would be interested please let me know.
Secondly all children at my daughter's school Abbotts Hall, automatically get a discount so any cake or bar for £2 or a cookie or energy ball/truffle for £1. Remember my treats are filling and satisfying so they won't be begging you for anything else before tea time
😊
Starting from Thursday the 11th October.

Lastly, I'm going to go ahead and fullfil the name of my company....No One Goes Hungry..... by pledging £1 for every five pounds spent, to various charities tackling homelessness and vulnerable people who are housebound or struggle to get out and about.
Meanwhile I am collecting like minded people on my facebook page East Anglian Ethical Consumer so that eventually I have enough people to form the basis for my community interest app which ideally would grow and spread to everywhere possible from here to Timbuktu.
